Once upon a time there was a girl who believed she could be everything; a dancer, painter, singer, storyteller, explorer, healer, teacher, mentor, mother, friend and some other things she hadn’t tried or even thought of yet.
She also believed she didn’t have to be perfect or even excellent at any of it. In fact, when she was twirling and singing, imagining and writing, she didn’t even think about anyone else. She just enjoyed the moment in bliss.
Then for a while she stopped believing, or at least became distracted by other things and other voices, and it took a long, long time and a whole lot of struggle to remember, believe again and become, but the becoming might never have happened without the exact journey that preceded it.
And she was very, very grateful for it all.
What are you becoming and believing today?
